A Lifetime Surrounded by Art
Art entered my life long before I began creating my own paintings.
For many years, I worked within the international fine art world, handling artworks at every stage of their journey—from unpacking and installation to exhibitions, presentations, transportation and shipping to collectors.
Thousands of artworks passed through my hands.
I learned not only how art is created, but also how it is cared for, protected, presented and ultimately appreciated by collectors around the world.
Through my work with Park West Gallery, I had the opportunity to work around artworks by renowned artists including Rembrandt, Picasso, Miró, Alexandra Nechita, Pino, Agam, Tarkay and many others.
Each artwork carried its own story, technique and presence.
Learning Directly from the Masters
My education as an artist extended far beyond books and classrooms.
Throughout years of travel across more than 120 countries, I visited some of the world’s most important museums, galleries and artistic landmarks.
In Amsterdam, visiting the house of Rembrandt offered a rare glimpse into the daily life of one of history’s greatest painters.
In Málaga, walking through Picasso’s birthplace revealed the personal environment that shaped one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century.
At the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, I encountered one of the most extraordinary collections of art ever assembled.
These experiences transformed the way I understand painting, creativity and artistic legacy.
Understanding Art Beyond the Canvas
Working closely with collectors taught me that great art is about far more than technical skill.
The artworks that remain memorable are those that create an emotional connection, tell a story and continue to reveal new details over time.
This understanding continues to guide my own artistic practice today.
From Observer to Creator
After years spent surrounded by remarkable works of art, I felt called to create my own.
Today, my paintings are inspired by travel, culture, beauty and the human stories that connect us across places and generations.
Every artwork I create carries with it the lessons learned from a lifetime spent in the presence of art.
