Too Cool to Migrate started as a small oil painting and quickly became one of those pieces that simply makes me smile.

There is something I love about taking a playful idea, painting it seriously in oils, and then letting it live beyond the canvas. This little bird has attitude, colour and its own personality — definitely too cool to migrate. 🐦

Part of my wearable art collection, the design is created from one of my original paintings and brings fine art into everyday life in a more relaxed and unexpected way.
