Málaga Shrimp

Málaga Shrimp

Original Oil Painting | Holiday Memories Collection

Málaga Shrimp is an original oil painting inspired by the months I spent living in Málaga, Spain.

During my time there, I fell in love with the Mediterranean lifestyle — the warm sunshine, afternoons by the sea, colourful beachside chiringuitos and the simple pleasures that made everyday life feel like a holiday.

Through this painting, I wanted to capture the playful character of the Spanish coast, where even the smallest details can become beautiful memories.

The vibrant shrimp, surrounded by soft turquoise and sun-washed tones, reminds me of those carefree moments — a meal by the sea, the warmth of the sun, a particular colour or a feeling that stays with us long after we’ve left.

For me, Málaga Shrimp is more than a painting inspired by Mediterranean life. It’s a little piece of my own story, a memory transformed into art.

Part of my Holiday Memories collection, this original artwork celebrates the places we’ve loved, the experiences we’ve shared and the seemingly ordinary moments that become extraordinary memories.
